This 20 bay Renal Dialysis Center started as a complete gut renovation of the partial first floor of Peninsula Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.  The existing space was opened up to allow natural light to flood the interior as well as to accommodate the required sight lines from the nursing staff to the patients.  The “L-shaped” configuration of the space includes three Nurse Stations and staff support spaces overlooking the 20 Patient Treatment Bays situated around the footprint’s perimeter of the Treatment Space.  The color palette for this space includes the use of warm and inviting neutral tones which are contrasted with bold blue accents.  Accent lighting, decorative tile and solid surface complement the Reception Desk and Nurse stations.  All lighting is provided by energy efficient LED fixtures controlled via dimming switches.
