This 6 Operating Room Ambulatory Surgical Center was a shell space build out of a recently constructed one story detached structure.  Large storefronts flood the waiting and administrative areas with sunlight.  The pre-operative and post-operative areas also have clerestory glazing to allow natural light for the patients. An open format nurse stations allow for efficient staff circulation. The first impression of the facility is a modern reception area with accenting angle forms.  Quartz counters, terrazzo floor tiles, durable wall covering, custom colored pendant light fixtures, and acrylic wall paneling comprise the palate of the Waiting Area. The remainder of the interior finishes are comprised of warm and calming neutral tones.  A wood pattern is used throughout the facility at the wall protection and impact resistant doors to bring an upscale aesthetic.  Each Operating Room is 400sf with ceiling heights over 10’-0” tall with a thermoformed vinyl wall cladding system to create a complete hygienic environment. All lighting is provided by energy efficient LED fixtures controlled via an automatic lighting control system.
